Global, Income and Caution: three top themes this ISA season
It’s the new tax year. Not quite as exciting as a new calendar year, but a good time a make some new ‘tax year resolutions‘ and, for those early-bird investors among you, to think about how you will allocate your new tax-free allowances.

If you are wondering which investments were the most popular last ISA season*, there were three key themes among FundCalibre visitors: global, income and caution – and a combination of all three where possible!
Overall, the most visited sector between 1 January and 5 April 2019* was UK equity income, followed closely by global equity income then global.
When we delve a little deeper into individual fund views, Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust was in top spot.
Artemis proved to be the most popular asset management company with three funds in the top ten.
Seven of the top ten viewed funds produce an income, two of which are global in nature and one of which is more cautious. One of the top ten is cautious, global and has an income, highlighting perfectly investment sentiment in recent months.
